A 'mish mash' post, please read it all.......

Hi Everyone! Sorry that I have not posted in a long time, our computer has not been working real well and mom had a lot of CH stuff to do so this is my first chance to post. Anyway, I will again do a mish mash post. So I hope you all will stay till the end and leave a comment on what you think. And here we go......

First off, We have picked a name for our little girl......drum roll please........Lydia Kay Reilly!!

I have to say that I love the name because Lydia is one of my favorite names out there. I hope to use it myself some day. :)

Secondly, my Aunt has ask for pictures of my car so here they are.....

It is kind of old but is great for a first car. It has, like any car, its little...ummm....personalities. Like it is cold sensitive and takes awhile to warm up in the winter, the heating fan does not work, one door is hard to lock and another is hard to unlock. But even with these personalities, which most can be fixed and the others lived with, it is a great car. I am nervous but it will be nice to drive it.

Ok, last thing, I have been trying to talk mom into letting me start a recipe blog and she said yes today and as we talked about it we thought it would be more fun to make it a group blog with all the people we know to put recipes on. So I am inviting all of my blog readers, friends, family, boys, girls, cousin, aunt, grandma, friends parents etc. Even if you don't have a blog (Sarah H) please do this with me and we all can share our recipes. Let me know what you think and I will go from there. But if you don't tell me you want to be part of it I can't add you in. Also you don't have to put a lot of recipes on there to be part of this just every once in a while. Let me know.

Ok that is all.

Samantha

Hey Sammy Girl,

Aunt Teri here… count me in on the recipe blog. Only wish I had thought of this grand idea myself. Now the real question is…, “Who’s cookin fir me?” :0) Ha, ha

I'm sure this fine bunch of home-scholars will put together a real top notch cookbook. Will you have themes? i.e. generational recipes/ easy peasies/ sweet for the sweet…

Thanks for the beautiful Valentines Day cards you sent to my girls- Wow- did you ever get a good response out of them, too cute. You’re simply magnificent.

I have never been able to come up with good names for my cars… but your grandmas were always named ‘Betsy’. “ Good old Betsy.” She would say, while rubbing the dashboard, whenever they would start.

I think your car is just perfect- big old jalopies have a way of lasting and lasting and are sturdy to boot. I look forward to driving with you soon. You are going to be a great driver so have fun learning and don’t be too nervous okay.

I love you bunches kiss everyone for me
Aunt Teri

Oh have you heard anything from Pastor Bret about the choir stuff yet?

Hey Samantha!

I like the idea of having a cooking blog. Let me know when you are going to get it up and running. It will be lots of fun. It would be good to post tips as well.
Talk to you soon!

Hello Samantha!

What a sweet name for your little sister to-be! As you probably have noticed from my blog our youngest is named Lydia Esther, I love her name!

What a good idea to have a 'shared' cooking blog. I hardly get around to posting on my recipe blog. Someday I think it would be fun to compile a cookbook, I have
enough recipes! :-)

Nice car! So have you started driving? I have sweet memories of 'my' first car, it was wrecked so now I have a newer one. I've heard of people naming things like their camera, car and such. I always thought it was a fun idea, but I've never done it.

We still have internet, I'm not sure why. I've been having fun checking all my friends blogs getting up-to-date on the latest news!

Blessings,
Sarah

P.S. Will you be at Annalisa Craig's bridal shower?

I don't know Annalisa and did not get an invit, so I don't belive so. I hope you have a great time though. Are you going to the CH conference?

Leanne~
Thank you for joining the recipe group. I will be putting more info out for it today or tomorrow and we will go from there.

Samantha,

My family would like to go to the CH conference, but with my Dad not having a job we may not be able to make it this year. It's possible that part of our family would go.

Love you!
Sarah

It sounds like I might not get to see you at the CH Conference, but are you going to Annalisa wedding? We got an invit for that so maybe I will see you there.

Hello, Samantha!

That is a good idea for the recipe blog! You can sign me up. :)

The name that you guys picked is very pretty. Gregory has only about a month left. :) It will be fun to have a little baby around again.

Hi Samanth!

I REALLY like the name you guys chose. The only thing is that the name Lydia was the name I was planning on using for one of my girls when I get married.:)

Ok, I have never officially driven. Well, actually I drove my dad's astro van around our circular driveway. I did pretty well, except that you have to back up the van to park it. I backed it up good (it was parallel to the curb, a few inches away from it), but then I stepped on the brake a little to hard. :) It wasn't the softest stop. But the van got parked fine. :) The only other vehilcle (if you can call it that) that I have driven is our ride-on lawn mower since I was twelve. I can drive our lawn mower just fine, easy-squeezy. At least I don't call it a mow lawner anymore!!:) :0
So, I do have to tips. Don't stomp on the brake, and pay attention to where your driving (a mistake I've made).

Oh, and count me in for the recipe blog.:) Sounds yummy... I already have a few recipes to put on there. :)

1 Thank you for joining the group
2 It is ok if you use the naem Lydia, I want to, Mrs. Hamre wants to, ANd there was one more person that I don't remeber who it was also wanted to, so we will just a lot of Lydias with differant middle names.

Cari~
Thank you for jioning the group.
