Update

Devin is home!, and sleeping right now. The surgery last night took about 6 and a half hours, but he made it through safe. The update is that the piece of metal went through the bottom eye lid, cut the lense and hit the middle of the retina(sp?). So the Lord is all powerful and can do any thing, so Him may heal Devin 100% and have no lasting damage. Or He may have other plans. So if there is no infection, the Doctor said that most likely he will have a blind spot. If you think of your vision as a circle the very middle would be blacked out and all you would be able to see is the edge of the circle. Now the right eye is perfect fine, and over time it will become strong enough to...well in a way see for both eyes, and he will not even be able to tell that there is a blind spot. No this will not hinder him from doing most things. He want to be a nurse, he will have very little if any at all problem doing that. His mission work, him building things, almost any thing he dose now he will be able to do after he has adjusted to it. The only thing he would most likely not be able to do is......work on a watch or really small delicate thing, but he has never really want to do thous things any way. We do not know what the Lord is planning but we do know it will bring glory to Him, weather now or in the future it will be for His glory.
He is in a little pain so please pray about that, and pray for no infection. Also mom and dad could us some prayer. A lot for mom, she has had only 4 hours sleep in the last two day, they have been hard and stressful, she is pregnant and she has to get up every 3 hours to give Devin eye drops. So pray she will get rest and strength and will not get sick in any way. Thank you again to all how are praying.
